Résumé: In general, the different material combinations used in the production of gradient materials properties (FGM) have different coefficients of thermal expansion which can lead to the generation of significant residual stresses, when the part is exposed to a thermal cycle (for example, during treatment). The aim of this work is the study of residual stresses in the material function gradient Ti-SiC is assumed that the material properties and the thermal expansion coefficient of the plate vary continuously in the thickness direction according to a single power law distribution in terms of the volume fraction of the constituents. We investigated the residual stress as a function of composition and temperature of the material Ti-SiC. We consider the continuous distribution of the material, and the discontinuous distribution.
