Abstract

Ils permettent une amplification directe de la lumière sans la contrainte d'une conversion optique-électronique. L'intérêt principal de cette amplification est de compacter l'atténuation dans la fibre optique et les autres composants. L'objectif de ce travail est de comprendre le principe de fonctionnement physique de ce composant. En second lieu, on cherche à faire le lien entre les différents paramètres inhérents aux matériaux semi-conducteurs III-V qui sont en relation avec les conditions d'émission de lumière incohérente. Un modèle théorique de SOA est présenté. They allow a direct amplification of the light without the constraint of an optical-electronic conversion. The main interest of this amplification is to compensate the attenuation of the optical fiber and the other components. The objective of this work is to understand the principle of physical functioning of this component. Secondly, we try to make the connection between the different intrinsic parameters of the III-V semiconductor materials which are in connection with the conditions of the emission of light.
