Usage et apport des sig dans l’identification, la cartographie, la dynamique et les politiques de gestion, de protection et de mise en valeur des espaces periurbains de la commune de sidi bel abbés (Algérie nord-ouest)

Abstract

In Algeria, the projection of the urban face on the grounds périurbains is confirmed since the Sixties ten and it is spirit to nowadays take several forms, we quote the periurbanisation amongst other things; a new form of urban sprawl generating an unknown rhythm hither to as regards consumption of land the périurbain. Sidi Bel Abbes which occupies a strategic position on the level of the western northern area of the country as well by the importance of its population as by that of its economic activity, the effects are strong, the evolution of the population passes from 212,935 inhabitants in 2008 to 237,400 inhabitants in 2015. We attend a remarkable transformation of the space of the city and especially that of its periphery. Today, space périurbain of Sidi Bel Abbes continuous to change, it is diluted, become more and more complex between city and countryside. In order to estimate this phenomenon, it appeared interesting to us to explore a space method of analysis adapted to put the light on the inconsistencies of dynamics périurbaine and the space follow-up, quantitative and qualitative of the consumption of the grounds by the surfaces artificialized using geomatics GIS which deeply upset the traditional methods of analysis and area management. Our results show that, In 2008, the urban space of the town of SBA occupies a surface de2775.35 ha whereas for the year 2014, the surface occupied by the frame is of 2883 ha of the general surface which makes 7098 ha, which explains an increase of 107.65 ha during the five last years. This spreading out is the result of a rate of increase high which would correspond well to the evolution of the population noted for this period. Also the increase in the frame represents the evolution of the needs into housing for the population. This urban dynamics this fact starting from the extensions not limited which are installed on the périurbains of the commune of SBA.
