Résumé: | In this paper, the thermal buckling characteristics of armchair single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) embedded in a one-parameter elastic medium are investigated using a new nonlocal first-order shear deformation theory (NNFSDT).
The model present as well as takes into account the scale effect the effects of transverse deformation of the nanotubes, the nonlocal effects (e_0 a), the parameter of the modulus Winkler (k_w), the aspect ratio (L/d) and the number of mode(m).
The equivalent of the Young modulus as well as the modulus of deformation SWCNT is obtained by employing the equivalent model of energy. A solution of the non-dimensional critical temperature of buckling is obtained in this investigation.
The results illustrated in this work can provide invaluable and significant information for the analysis and the design of the new generation of the nanotubes as well as the thermal characteristics of the nanotubes mono wall “SWCNT”. |
